Thursday August 6 – Paint Your Own Panda

Go to the Beijing Zoo and paint your own panda! This ongoing event invites kids ages 5-12 to design their own paper mache pandas, which will be put on display at the zoo until September 12, in celebration of the National Giant Panda Day. Daily 8.30am-4.30pm.

 Thursday August 6 – Lucky Draw for Supercoppa Tickets

Have soccer fanatics for kids? Spend RMB 50 at Piazza Italia and you could win Suppercoppa tickets for the match this Saturday. The daily lucky draw will continue until the 16th, raffling off jerseys and footballs signed by Inter Milan and Lazio players.

Friday August 7 – Bernstein’s Symphony Concert

Sunday August 9 – Watch Dragon Boating at Houhai

Even though we celebrated this year’s Dragon Boat Festival recently, you can still catch Dragon Boating teams train at Houhai. Hire a boat and head to the lake for front row seats, or take a lazy afternoon stroll while soaking up some Chinese culture. 4.30-6.30pm.

Don’t Forget: Afterwards head to Nanluogu Xiang, only 10 mins walk away, for Sunday night fish and chips at Fish Nation.
