Hey Dads: Mother’s Day is this weekend … have you forgotten?
If you are anything like most dads I know, you (a) haven’t planned anything yet; and (b) your kids probably haven’t done much aside from the compulsory art project their teachers are making them do in class this week.
Doesn’t the mother of your progeny deserve better?
Sure you could just shuttle mom and the kids to a hotel buffet … but hey, you could pretty much do that any weekend. Why not let beijingkids take the worry out of Mother’s Day planning: we’ve designed an afternoon of fun and relaxation for the whole family, especially mom.
First, all of you will enjoy brunch at the Park Side Grill where mom will be greeted with a custom flower arrangement and a box of imported Belgian chocolates.
Afterward, mom will be escorted to nearby Oriental Taipan Massage & Spa for a foot massage and manicure. Meanwhile, dad and the kids will continue on to a special kite-making workshop conducted by trained educators at nearby 3e International.
Later, the family can rendez-vous at Si’De Park, where the little ones will fly their creations and mom will return from her afternoon of pampering just in time to see her little ones’ projects soaring and that look of peace and serenity she’s been missing for ages.
This intimate event is designed for approximately 5 to 15 families and the kite workshop is suitable for kids 10 and under. So book now or face the Wrath of Mom!
More details on signing up can be found here or you can simply contact events@beijing-kids.com or Cindy at 5820 5407 for details before May 5th.
Best of all, all of this happens on Saturday, which leaves Sunday for another day of pampering for mom, be it breakfast in bed or a trip to your favorite 5-star champagne buffet!
So what are you waiting for, Dad?
