Noemi Kubiak might be a Beijing mom-on-the-go, but she can certainly claim she is a citizen of the world. While her roots are Swedish and Polish, she has been traveling around the world since the age of 16 from Sweden to Poland, France, the US, Guatemala and now China. A year ago, she moved to the capital with her husband, who works for a British television station, as well as their 2-year-old son Julius and 4-year-old daughter Saskia. Kubiak speaks five languages fluently and in the midst of closing her events business in London, she has joined SmarTots as the Vice President of Marketing. This busy working mom confessed that her last haircut was two years ago, so she was eager to give her hair a much-needed boost. After going to the same stylist in London for many years, she left her blonde locks in the very capable hands of the salon, Toni & Guy.
Get The Look:
1. Toni & Guy Stylist Malou Claessens kept Noemi’s hair long, but angled in the front to help frame her face. No thanks to previous dye jobs, or Beijing’s dry air and harsh water, Noemi’s hair was quite damaged. To amend this, she opted for a moisturizing Kérastase hair treatment, which strengthened her hair and rebuilt its structure.
2. Next, Claessens blow-dried Kubiak’s hair with a big round honeycomb brush. It was kept straight with a slight curl at the ends to give it some bounce. Sebastian Mouuse Forte was used to add volume and Kérastase Nutritive Anti-Frizz serum smoothed out her strands.
3. Make-up artist Kenny Li highlighted her natural features with smokey eyes. He used Bobbi Brown’s Shimmer Brick Compact and black Bobbi Brown wet eyeliner. Maybelline Super Film mascara and Déjávu Fiberwig Paint-On Lashes helped lengthen her lashes. Next, Li used the Make Up For Ever Sculpting Kit to sculpt her cheek bones, and Kryolan’s soft pink blush to give them a rosy glow. To finish, he applied Calvin Klein Double Feature lipstick in 102 and Plump ‘n’ Shine in Creamy Pink for a glossy finish.
