Dulwich College Beijing, WAB, BSB and Harrow are all on spring break holiday this week, Tomb Sweeping holiday is today, and Easter is just around the corner on Sunday – plenty going on! Individual villa compounds have various activities set up for their residents and many area restaurants have special Sunday brunches available for families. It’s a great time to get out and enjoy the spring weather!
*Open to the public this weekend is the ISB Car Boot Sale (organized by the high school Nightingale Charity Club). From 9:30am-1pm, come and see what bargains await in the International School of Beijing main parking lot.
*The Filling Station will have a special Easter offering from noon – 6pm on Sunday for adults (RMB 280) and children (RMB 140) – deviled eggs, roasted lamb cutlets with potato gratin, spring vegetables, lemon tart (vegetarian selection is veggie lasagna with garlic bread and salad). *A-Z Kids has an Easter Day Party from 2:30-5pm – have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny, hunt Easter eggs, create an Easter craft and much more. For information call 8559 2883/6 or 15810046020.
*Euro Plaza now has optometry services in their B1 level (beside the escalators). Eye exams, glasses and contact lenses are available on site. This makes the second recent optical offering in our area with the recent addition of an eye clinic at BJU in Pinnacle Plaza.
