The Children’s House Montessori Kindergarten was the first Montessori Kindergarten to be founded in Beijing. It opened its doors at the China World Trade Center in 1992 and today caters for more than three hundred and fifty children up to the age of six, hailing from every corner of our globe.
There are currently three international campuses in Beijing – China World Trade Center, The Lufthansa Center and Yosemite Villas and one bilingual campus at Yayunxinxin Gardens in Yayuncun. All provide dedicated staff with the aim to achieve love, growth and peace amongst our future generations.
The school’s philosophy is based upon the principles devised by Dr. Maria Montessori, and the kindergarten is dedicated to allowing each of its children to develop his or her self. It encourages self-motivation and independent learning so that each child will solve problems, define what is important to them, assume responsibilities and continue to learn and grow.
The Children’s House’s overall aim is to develop a love of learning and a thirst for knowledge that will stay with children for life.

Word from a parent:
“I have three children who attended The Children’s House during their preschool years. When looking for a kindergarten, I wanted a place that was warm, safe, and caring. I was impressed by the atmosphere at Children’s House, where children’s artwork adorns the walls and there is color and activity in all of the classrooms. I’m always impressed by how passionate the teachers are about Montessori training methods and how well they know each of my children. The teachers are supported by great administrative staff and a wonderful principal. I have loved watching my children develop self-confidence and independence through their experiences at the school.”
– Meaghan Amor (Australia), mother of George (10), Oliver (8), and Indigo (5)
