Did you know that chewing gum helps to relieve stress? We saw this tip from our friends at Arborbridge and thought we’d share it too. As we’ve all experienced, taking tests and spending hours preparing for them is pretty stressful. A very simple solution then is to chew gum!
Chewing gum while you study will (excerpted in full) …
- Will make you 19% more alert during mildly stressful situations and 8% more alert during moderately stressful situations than if you are empty-mouthed.
- Will relieve anxiety. Chomping down during mildly stressful situations will reduce your anxiety by 17% and down by 10% in moderately stressful situations.
