There are hundreds of animals hoping to find loving homes in Beijing. If you are considering adopting a pet, Doggy/Moggy of the Week will feature animals from volunteer shelters, animal rescue groups, foster care providers, and pet owners needing to rehome animals. This week’s doggy, Snow, is from ICVS’ Adoptable Pets.
Name: Happy New Year! I am little Snow.
Background: I was a stray puppy found by my very kind foster mom, Elizabeth!
My wonderful foster mom brought me to ICVS where I have been examined by my vets and already treated for worms. My vet says I am healthy and can start my vaccinations soon. I am ready for adoption and I am hoping to find a loving forever home in Beijing for the new year!
Personality: I am very sweet, active and excited about everything and everyone! I need a patient family that will give me lots of love and attention to help me become socialized and calmer as I grow up.
Ideal home: I am fine with an individual owner or with a family with children (e.g., 8-years and older). I am friendly and curious and enjoy playing, eating, and being a curious puppy! I am a young puppy so my new family should be able to spend a lot of time with me at home.
Breed: Small mixed breed dog
Dog registration and Licensing: I under 35 cms from the ground to the shoulder and may be legally registered within any district in Beijing.
Sex & Age: I am a 3-month old female puppy.
Medical notes: I am a healthy puppy. I have been dewormed, and will start vaccinations and then will be spayed by my doctors at ICVS!
Post-adoption care: The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) has enrolled me into their Rescued/Stray Pet Adoption Benefits Program. ICVS will provide my new family with significant discounts (up to 50%) on my health examinations, vaccinations and spay surgery!
Official Vaccination Certificate: With my rabies vaccination, ICVS will issue my new family an official Beijing Animal Health and Immunity Certificate (e.g., vaccination red book) at no charge! I need this official vaccination red book to prove I have been legally and properly rabies vaccinated and to register for my dog license. I must have this official vaccination red book in order to move to another city or to leave China with my family.
Official Spay/Neuter Certificate for Dogs: After my spay surgery by my doctors at ICVS, the hospital will issue my new family an official Spay/Neuter Certificate that will provide my owners with a 50% discount (e.g., RMB 500.00 savings) on my dog license registration fee at the Public Security Bureau!
