There are hundreds of animals hoping to find loving homes in Beijing. If you are considering adopting a pet, Doggy/Moggy of the Week features animals from volunteer shelters, animal rescue groups, foster care providers, and pet owners needing to rehome animals. We first introduced this week’s moggy, Lina from ICVS’ Adoptable Pets back in April.

Name: Pleased to meet you Beijing! I’m Lina.

Background: I am a kitten who was rescued trying to cross the third ring road, and I need to find a good home.

Personality: I am a bit nervous and shy at first but I warm up quickly to people care for me.

Ideal home: A couple or family with or without children (e.g., 10-years or older). Kittens need a lot of attention and love, so my owners need to be able to be home a good part of the day.

Breed: Domestic long hair, white

Sex & Age: Female, less than 1 year old.

Medical notes: Lina initially had a virus but has since fully recovered with treatments and hospitalized care. She will be spayed and fully vaccinated by ICVS. She’ll also receive her official vaccination certificate which will allow her to depart China or relocate to other cities with her family.

Contact information: Please contact ICVS for more details about adopting Lina and their Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Adoption Benefits Program, 8456-1939/1940 or ICVS_CHINA@yahoo.com

Aftercare: Lina is eligible for the Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Pets Adoption Benefits Program at ICVS. The adoption family will receive significant discounts of up to 50% on examinations and vaccinations.
