There are hundreds of animals hoping to find loving homes in Beijing. If you are considering adopting a pet, Doggy/Moggy of the Week will feature animals from volunteer shelters, animal rescue groups, foster care providers, and pet owners needing to rehome animals. This week’s kittens, are Luke and Mango from ICVS’ Adoptable Pets.
Introduction: Hi everyone, our names are Luke and Mango!
Background: We are two beautiful kittens and were rescued during a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. Our very kind rescuers brought us to ICVS where we were treated and well cared for. We are sweet and a little bit shy but very affectionate with people we trust. We would like to be adopted together as we are brother and sister and have always been together. Two kittens are more fun than one and we will provide a double lifetime of companionship to our adoption family.
Personality: We are very playful, energetic, curious and fun. We like to cuddle and snuggle. We are shy but trusting and warm up quickly to people that are gentle and kind to us. We need a quiet and peaceful environment as we grow and build up our confidence.
Ideal home: Luke and Mango are brother and sister and would like to be adopted together. They would be happy with an individual, a couple or a family with older children (e.g., 8 years and older).
Sex, Age & Breed: Luke and Mango are short-haired kittens. Luke is a white, 8-week old male. Mango is a yellow tiger striped, 8-week old female.
Medical notes: Luke and Mango are healthy and sweet have already begun their vaccinations at ICVS.
Post-adoption care: The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) has enrolled us into their Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Pet Adoption Benefits Program. ICVS will provide our new families with significant discounts (up to 50%) on vaccinations, accompanying health examinations and neuter/spay surgeries during our first year of life with our new adoption families.
Official Vaccination Certificate: With our rabies vaccinations, ICVS will issue our families the official Beijing Animal Health and Immunity Certificates (e.g., vaccination red books) at no charge! We need the official vaccination red books to prove we have been legally and properly rabies vaccinated to move to another city or to leave China with our families.
Pet Import/Export Counseling: ICVS will provide our families with unlimited relocation counseling and accurate information to take us with them when it is time to move to another city or to another country.
Door-to-Door Pet Transport Service: ICVS can help our new families arrange for a car and driver service to take us door-to-door for our appointments at the hospital.
ICVS Non-Profit Humane Animal Welfare Programs: Please support and donate to the ICVS Non-Profit Humane Animal Welfare Programs. Your donations support ICVS in helping the many pets like Bubi and the many stray/rescued/abandoned and shelter animals in our community. The pets receive medical care, treatments, good nutrition and socialization with love and compassion that allows them to become healthy adoptable pets.
