During this workshop we will utilize a book about Gauguin’s experience in Tahiti. From the first contact between the painter and Tahitian culture, to his colorful paintings: learn how to Tahitians built their houses, boats they used to fish. discover exotic landscapes, wildlife and sea-lives. Qing Ming Event from That’s Mandarin, April 4
All ages. Qing Ming Festival (清明节), also known as the Tomb Sweeping Day, is a day when Chinese people pay a visit to their ancestors’ tombs and bring offerings. At That’s Mandarin’s Qing Ming event, attendees will learn more about the origin and customs of this festival. And since Qing Ming is almost like a Chinese version of Halloween, participants are welcome to share some ghost stories from their home country. RMB 50. 7-9pm. That’s Mandarin.
Beijing Playhouse Kids Summer Theatre Camps, April 8
Ages 6-14. The Beijing Playhouse Kids Summer Theatre Camp is the longest running theatre camp in Beijing.
