If you want to work out hard, head over to Karo’s Fit Mornings Class at BActive in Sanlitun on Friday mornings at 10am. This class was formed by a group of mommies and so the energy is high-spirited and supportive, even while Karo leads you through muscle shredding workouts.

Karo is ACE certified, a personal trainer, an IFAA group fitness instructor, and dance instructor.
Overall, I would recommend the class to women who are already mildly in shape but are looking for an extra kick in the pants. I noticed one group member who was not correctly keeping her back in proper form, and so considering the class is also like a social hour (with several members for Karo to check), I would suggest that this is not a class for beginners to weightlifting forms, regardless of fitness level.
Considering Karo is an intense trainer, if you’re a beginner to weightlifting, a one on one session with her would probably be better to get the same workout with more attention to your own form until certain you’re spot on. You can also check out her other classes below.
