Happy New Year, everyone! We’ve just passed a season of thanksgiving and almost-endless partying and eating, so many are planning again to shed whatever weight they’ve gained during recent months. If losing weight tops your New Year’s resolution list once more, this article shouts a resounding “Go go go!” because… let’s face it, it’s hard to lose weight, especially as the season of winter hibernation-slash-indulging is far from being over. *Cough cough* There’s still the Spring Festival!
But mind over matter. It takes more than just going to fitness centers to achieve your goal of a fitter or a healthier body. Stretch and Sweat by Diva, every Wed, Jan 2-30
It all starts with the core… and whenever you exercise, your core muscles should be stable. There are many ways to tone up your core, but this session led by trainer Diva makes use of a single resistance band. Start the New Year stretched out and warmed up at the Stretch and Sweat by Diva class, held at Prime in the Four Seasons Liangmaqiao. Advance registration is required.
