Mrs. Shanen's

If you’ve ever wanted to see the circle of life in action, take a trip to Green Cow Organic Farm. At this sustainable farm, nothing is wasted or taken for granted. The land covers 85 Chinese acres (almost five hectares), and there are ten cows, 30 pigs (for eating), 200 hens for egg and 20 geese to protect them. Half of what is produced on the farm goes to its Shunyi restaurant, Mrs. Shanen's. The other half is for the farm's members who receive a case of seasonal organic vegetables each week.

Things are always changing around the Shunyi area, and now is no different. As 2011 winds down and we prepare for 2012, there are a few popular places that may be in a different location when you come back from holiday.
