Sad that the in-town location has closed down. But the Shunyi location is opening soon. "Soft opening" it says on 4/25. Free gift for those who attend that day.

Clean nice indoor fun.

Excellent place to take the kiddos. There are so many areas and rooms:

*2 story climbing maze with slides, trampoline, ball pit and soft balls for shooting and sucking up in these funny machines (though the compressor or something was not working the last time we went there, all the previous times it had been.)
*Grocery store with checkout and rows and rows of plastic foods and shopping carts.
*"Health and Medical" Clinic with doctor supplies and exam table.
*"Beauty" area and kitchen.
*Workbenches with plastic hammers, and dollhouses
*Art room: painting on glass, structure building, puzzles and stuff, and JEWELRY-making: necklaces and bracelets (few kwai additional charge for each piece made).
*Baby and toddler area with well padded climbing toys and a small ball pit and slide there, too.
*Little Tykes cars, Musical instruments, Large Foam blocks castle- building area, Child sized REAL car to climb inside and pretend to drive, and even Video games.

And the very best thing: A) it's almost always totally empty on weekdays! and so B) there's always plenty of attentive staff around to help out. Very nice when you have 2 or 3 young kids especially. They have a coffee bar, "adult" drinks (liquor), but for the kids only some juice and potato chips, so we bring our own snacks and lunch, the mamas set up with our coffee on the comfy sofa chairs, and relax and talk and read magazines leisurely while the kids have the run of the place in safety.

It's a bit expensive but totally worth it for a special day out and the kids just BEG us to go much more often than we do. 60 kwai per child for the first hour and 30 kwai for each additional hour after that. We typically stay 3 or 4 hours. For groups (I think 10 or more) they have a group rate--40 (or is it 50?) yuan first hour and just 10 kwai for each additional hour and the kids do not have to all check out at the same time.
