The Seven-Color Butterfly Park has prepared many spring and summer activities for citizens in the capital, including a scientific exhibition about butterflies, a "butterfly valley" where visitors can see butterflies up close, even with them resting on their shoulders, and activities designed for children to make pictures using butterfly wings.

Review of: Butterfly Valley
The review in Beijing Kids doesn't set expectations too high for this attraction, and that's maybe why we were so pleased with what we found. As well as the "main event" butterfly greenhouse(s) which are full of different varieties of butterfly, there are also other areas with interesting things going on through the butterfly lifecycle.
The arts and crafts bit seems quite well organised, and while it feels a bit odd making art out of butterfly wings, the results were good and the kids enjoyed it.
Pretty quiet even on a weekend, probably due to the prices - 99RMB isn't far of western prices for this kind of attraction, but definitely worth a trip.
