Huzzah for Zarah, one of Beijing’s most pleasant cafes, where hipsters hang out under exposed wood beams, ceiling fans and rotating art/photo exhibitions. Excellent espresso drinks, German-style breakfasts, zesty soups, pasta and sandwiches, and wine at honest prices (Argentinean Malbec RMB 130 per bottle).
