The only Special Needs school in Beijing for expatriate children offers educational programs specifically tailored to meet the needs of children with learning, physical and behavioral differences. Current programs include an early intervention class for autistic children age 6-9 (8.30am-1.30pm; RMB 180,000); an SLD program for students aged 10 years and up with significant learning difficulties (8.30am-3.30pm; RMB 245,000); and an advocacy service, which provides an interim educational environment and support service for students who are having difficulty securing a place in mainstream international schools. Speech therapy, physiotherapy and occupational therapy all included in tuition. Facilities include music and art rooms, padded rumpus room for physical activities, dance and drama studios, multi-sensory room/physiotherapy room with equipment for brain gym and PT, observation rooms for play assessment, play grounds, football fields and jungle gyms on-site, access to clubhouse swimming facilities. All instruction is in English. Bus service available. Price range: RMB 180,000-245,000 (RMB 2,000 non-refundable application fee). No age limits.
