Located in a weathered stone farmhouse amidst the fresh air of a walled orchard, this cozy noodle house provides nice outdoor dining in the shadow of the Great Wall at Mutianyu. Xiaolu Mian is a great place to take the family (and pets) for an outing that combines a bit of outdoor fun with good food. The restaurant offers several varieties of noodles including buckwheat and wheat noodles flavored with vegetable such as carrot, spinach, and wormwood (苦艾). The indoor area is charmingly decorated with traditional tie-dyed textiles (see also The Brickyard). CLOSED UNTIL APRIL 2010.
