The Unusual Life of Eleanor Liu: An interview with the 97 year-old American who married a Chinese man in Nashville in 1950.
Their union is part of Eleanor’s exciting life, which eventually brought her to China and gave her a front row seat to observe the changes in this country from the 1970s til present. Eleanor has written an autobiography and children’s books; she leads the famous “Tuesday Trotters” exploring group, and is a long time member of the Beijing International Society. She currently lives in a lovely courtyard home with her extended family, including her 97 year-old husband.
Join us at the next INN monthly gathering to hear Eleanor Liu tell us some of her stories. Perhaps she’ll share her secret to long life as well. All expats are welcome.
