Australian International School?
Hi,
We are an Australian family who will be moving to Beijing in a few months. Just wondering if anyone can give us some feedback on the Australian International School? Are there any other international schools in Beijing that you would recommend due to their similarity to the Australian school curriculum? We will probably live in Shunyi area, so schools close by would be best.

Maybe WAB(Wastern Acadamy of Beijing) that is one of biggest international school in Beijing, located in Sunyi, the directer is

An Australian mum tells me that the Aussie school is indeed closed and that when it was open it wasn't that great (based several complaints from parents). Apparently it was bought out by a private Chinese operation and is now a local Chinese school (ish) ... the details are still very unclear.
Long story short -- try an IB school as the curriculum is intended to be international and may suit your purposes later down the track. I know that most large Aussie schools, particularly private high schools, offer the IB program.
