Just personally, I wouldn't feel comfortable asking someone to work 7 days a week. Everyone gets tired, stressed and worm out. Ayis are no different. The better you treat someone, the more they'll want to work for you.
Most nannies will want one day off, which is usually agreed upon at the commencement of their work. Some, who really want to make more money, will request a 7-day schedule, but the protocol is one day off.
It's a good thing, I believe, for all involved - ayi gets some rest and you and your family get some privacy.
Re: Nanny working hours
If you need them 7 days a week and he/she is agreeable to those hours, there is no problem.
