Is the House of Knowledge worth it's high tuition?

I'm thinking about sending my kid to the House of Knowledge because of the convenience and the German environment. However, I was so shocked when I saw their price. Does anyone has experience with the House of Knowledge? How do you, and your kid, like it? Is it worth the high price?

Apparently it's TRI-lingual -- German, English, Chinese ...

Is it particularly high priced? Most of the international-oriented schools tend to charge something in the vicinity of 50k to 100k+ for a year, from what I understand.

I guess it really depends on the cultural and linguistic environment you want your child growing up in -- if in fact the three languages are important to you, perhaps there is not an adequate replacement.

There are certainly a lot of affordable choices in local kindergartens if you want to choose that route.

Thanks for the reply.

I had a tour in the kindergarten yesterday, the Victoria Garden campus, and I was quite impressed with the facility there. Tuitionwise, I was also told before that the international schools here in Beijing are all very expensive. My older daughter goes to the German Kindergarten, the Deutsche Botschaftsschule Peking, so I tend to use the tuition there as bench mark and the tuition from the House of Knowledge is quite a bit more expensive than the German kindergarten.

I guess my other question is how are the parents, who send their kids to the House of Knowledge, feel about the school and the teachers there? Are they organized? Are the kids well taken care of? ...etc.

i have a German friend who sends their child there. Send me a PM with your address and I'll send her your email and ask if she can give you some feedback.

The campus in Victoria Gardens is brand new so I assume some teachers are new as well...
I am going to teach Mother and Child group there starting next Monday and Wednesdays mornings, I am quite organized Wink
I liked personally classrooms inside, especially climbing area...the fees are high, i agree, but i guess thats what you get for trilingual environment...

A review from a parent:

"We signed our daughter up in October and she's already loving it. We were back in America for Christmas and all she wanted to do the whole time was go to her Beijing kindergarten and hang out with her new friends. lol. Thank goodness school starts again on Monday! =D>"
