Dentist recommendations

I have heard so many scary stories about dental woes I am looking for some real recommendations.

Please tell me good dentists that you have been to, (not just heard about).

I don't want one who is going to assume my Western insurance package is his/her key to retirement - and who will insist I have a mouth full of implants, crowns and bridges (like the one I tried before at IMC).

I need a couple of crowns, and I hate dentists. I want to go to a nice one.

I have not been there myself but did take my young daughter there for a check-up and was highly impressed with IDC Dental. We saw Dr. Jacklyn and she was highly professional as was everyone there and the price for an examination was reasonable, 200 yuan.

Now 5 of her friends had been through Dr. Jacklyn's treatment, and Dentist is no longer an scary word, they all want to go back.
