CISB's Fifth Year Anniversary: The Canadian International School of Beijing (CISB) is celebrating its fifth anniversary with events to be held throughout the year. Chinese New Year at CISB: On January 25, CISB held its annual Chinese New Year Family Fun Night with an exhibition on Chinese culture, dumpling making and games. Girl Scouts Beijing Someone Special and Me Snowflake Ball: On January 22, Girl Scouts Overseas Beijing hosted its third annual "Someone Special and Me" Snowflake Ball at ISB's Upper Gallery. Over 100 Girl Scouts ages 5 to 18 and their parent escorts flaunted feather boas, batted balloons and boogied the night away. Chinese New Year at Harrow: On January 28, Harrow School Beijing celebrated Chinese New Year with a temple fair run by parents and Chinese games run by the House Captains. An Architect Visits BWYA: In early January, Beijing-based Canadian architect Joe Carter dropped by the Grade 8 Design Technology class at Beijing World Youth Academy (BWYA).
