Viewing your user profile
To get started, the first thing you should do is goto your user profile page. Assuming that you are already logged in, you will see a small user menu at the top-righthand side of the screen. It includes links to your profile page, your private messages and a link to logout. The user menu looks like this:
When you click on My Profile you will be taken to your user profile page. Here is a sample user profile showing basic information about the user such as their username, user avatar and how long they have been a member of beijing-kids.
Editing your user profile
When you wish to edit your user profile click on the 'Edit' tab on your user profile page. When you click on this you will see a page like one below with your Account Information.
Login Information
If you wish to update your password, enter your new password in the boxes provided and click Submit. If you wish to have your email address updated you should contact webmaster@beijing-kids.com with your new email address details.
Avatar & Signature
If you wish to upload an image to use as your avatar or to replace your current avatar you can do so on the Avatar & Signature editing page. Text that you enter as your signature will apear below posts or comments you make on beijing-kids such as in the forum. Be sure to read the information on this page regarding rules such as the maximum size of your avatar.
