BCIS Founders Day Carnival

Celebrate the 20th anniversary of Beijing City International School at the BCIS Founders Day Carnival! Enjoy family-friendly fun with a parent-teacher football match, a flea market, games, and camping activities. The highlight is the spectacular 20th Anniversary Parade, when the campus transforms into a fairy-tale kingdom, creating an unforgettable visual feast for all ages.
Roundabout Book Fair at WAB

It’s back-to-school time, which means it’s time to declutter and restock your home library. Don’t miss out on the next Roundabout book fair this Saturday from 10am to 1pm at Western Academy of Beijing (WAB).
Head to the primary school gym and browse through about 10,000 recently donated, gently used books for the whole family. Paperback books are RMB 10, hardcover books are RMB 20, and kids’ books and unique books start from as low as RMB 1.
Scares at Universal

Universal Beijing Resort is bringing back its Scares @ Universal event from Sep 5 until Nov 2. During its nighttime experiences, the closing time of the themed lands will be extended to 10pm.
Four themed haunted mazes (including two new ones) and two scare zones will open to visitors altogether. The “Universal Monsters Crypt,” one of the new haunted zones, will gather original characters from Universal Pictures’ classic movies and provide visitors with multi-sensory assaults through blockbuster-level production quality. Another new zone – the silent and mysterious “House of Hua Pi” – will open for a limited period. Jack’s Circus and House No. 91 will also come back.
