The First-Ever River BBQ Fest at Langyuan Station
The first-ever River BBQ Fest is coming to the capital! It’ll be taking place at Langyuan Station from Sep 19 to Sep 21. This year for Langyuan Station’s 7th Food Fest, our sister brand the Beijinger is switching things up from previous years, which were Belt & Road-themed, and instead embracing the smoky delight of all things barbecued!
At the fest, there will be everything from American low-and-slow barbecue to Brazilian churrasco, Chinese chuan’r, Korean BBQ, Turkish barbecue, Japanese izakaya skewers and more!
The fest will be completely family- and pet-friendly, so feel free to bring along the little ones and your furry friends for all the fun! Beijing Sixes Cricket
Hosted by the Beijing Ducks Cricket Club, the Beijing Sixes returns for its 2025 edition bigger and better than ever before, with eight local teams battling it out on the Dulwich College Beijing (DCB) oval for this year’s bragging rights.
In addition to the adult tournament, there will also be a youth tournament in the morning. All abilities and ages from 7 to 17 years old are welcome to join in the fun.

“Love is Around” International Music Festival

Scares @ Universal
Universal Beijing Resort is bringing back its Scares @ Universal event from now until Nov 2. During its nighttime experiences, the closing time of the themed lands will be extended to 11pm.
Four themed haunted mazes (including two new ones) and two scare zones will open to visitors altogether. The Universal Monsters Crypt, one of the new haunted zones, will gather original characters from Universal Pictures’ classic movies and provide visitors with multi-sensory assaults through blockbuster-level production quality. Another new area, the silent and mysterious House of Hua Pi – will open for a limited period. Jack’s Circus and House No. 91 will also come back.
