On Apr 2, the 9th Beijing Forest Cultural Festival kicked off in Xishan National Forest Park. This cultural festival will last until the end of 2021. More than 200 forest cultural activities will be held in Beijing’s popular forest parks and nursery gardens. From spring to winter, from urban to suburbs, the activities are divided into themes including sightseeing, music, exhibition, and more.

More than 40 activities lead tourists to explore the forest and enjoy the beauty of all seasons. In spring, you can go to Xishan National Forest Park to enjoy flowers. To cool down in summer, try to visit the “Lilac Festival” in Badaling National Forest Park. In autumn, the most beautiful season in Beijing, don’t miss Beigong National Forest Park’s Colorful Leaf Festival. At the end of the year, you can come to Jingzhihu Forest Park and play with snow at the Ice Festival.

In addition, activities such as hiking, fruit picking, forest concerts, and forest trains invite citizens to experience the harmonious atmosphere of humans and nature. The cultural festival will also hold a series of thematic exhibitions and forest summer camps, leading children to learn about forests and grow a love for nature.

Today’s the final day of this year’s Burger Fest! Day 2 was filled with a ton of great food, drinks, families, four-legged sidekicks, and music and the final day is sure to be filled with just as much fun!

If you still haven’t gotten your tickets, don’t worry. You can purchase them at the door for RMB 30 per person. Kids 1.2 meters and below get in for free, and dogs are allowed to come inside the festival grounds as well. It’s truly a weekend of fun for the whole family!

If you’re coming with small kids, we recommend making it a day trip for the family and going before 5pm. If Saturday night was any indication of how today’s Burger Fest will go, the later it gets, the more crowded it’ll get.
