Are they full of energy but need a positive outlet? Or perhaps they’re a little shy and looking for a safe space to come out of their shell?

This winter, step away from the screens and into the spotlight. We’re excited to introduce a unique winter program designed not just to teach performance, but to build unshakable confidence, creativity, and communication skills that will benefit children for a lifetime.

This isn’t your average drama club. It’s a journey of self-discovery, all while having a ton of fun!

What’s the Camp All About?

This program is specially designed for first-time performers and children with limited stage experience. Forget the pressure of being perfect—the goal here is to feel comfortable, confident, and expressive.

Over the course of the camp, your child will learn to:
Command the room: Build genuine stage presence and beat those first-time jitters.
Become a character: Dive into the fun of understanding a character’s thoughts, feelings, and personality.
Express themselves: Learn how to communicate ideas and emotions clearly and creatively.
Develop creative habits: Build a foundation for future learning in the arts and beyond.

The focus is on the process, not the product. It’s about giving kids the tools to express themselves authentically, whether they’re on a stage or in a classroom.

What kind of kids is this camp for?

This camp is a perfect fit for a wide range of kids, especially those who are curious and imaginative and love to make-believe and tell stories, as well as first-time performers who will find it the ideal place to start even with no experience whatsoever; it’s also a wonderful opportunity for shy or introverted children to gently step out of their comfort zone in a supportive, pressure-free environment, while equally serving as a healthy, creative outlet for energetic and talkative kids to channel all that wonderful energy, ultimately making it a fantastic choice for any young confidence-builder looking to improve their communication skills and make new friends in a fun setting—no previous acting experience is required, and every child is welcomed and encouraged to grow at their own pace.

The Quick Details

Price: RMB 12,998 – 15,998
Dates: March 7 – June 5
Time: Saturday mornings, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

This winter, warm up with football fun inspired by three of the world’s greatest football nations. Brazil: flair, creativity, and samba-style skills! England: teamwork, discipline, and Premier League energy! Spain: passing precision, control and total football! Led by UEFA-qualified international coaches, each session brings a new challenge – from fast footwork to smart playmaking – all in a safe, friendl,y and confidence-building environment. Train. Learn. Play. Enjoy the world’s game-the ClubFootball way!

What can the kids expect to learn?

Coaches ‘Introduce’ the day’s theme through a fun warm-up and technical activity where kids learn the theme’s fundamental skills and techniques unopposed. Players then ‘Explore’ the theme in more detail in semi-opposed practices and learn to use the skills under pressure. In the last part of the session, players use their acquired skills to ‘Express’ themselves in a competitive environment with small-sided matchplay.

Over the course of the week, the country-based curriculum progresses players from the individual skills required to win their 1v1 duels through to working with teammates in small-sided 4v4 matches! Each day, players are encouraged to work together to achieve common objectives through a range of fun and creative games and holiday activities that make kids think on their feet, as per the club’s coaching philosophy

What to do when your kids wants to do stunts? Teach them the safe way.

Have you ever been watching a movie with your kids, got to the big action scene, and had them ask, “How do they do that? I want to do that!” I know that for weeks after watching The Karate Kid, my kids were insistent that they knew all the moves just from watching the movie.

Luckily, at the time, they were also participating in a great summer camp lead by Flips & Kicks Plus, who taught them the basics of karate in fun and safely engaging ways. So they did know a little and learned how to respect that art form and the perseverance it takes to become a master.

If your kids want to learn how to do all the cool movie stunts, and you don’t mind them traveling with their class a little way, then Flips & Kicks Plus have the winter camps for you! They have their special movie training camps and also an extension of their multi-sports camps running in two blocks: Dec 21-25 and then again Dec 28-Jan 1. Coach Fredrik Yderstrom was kind enough to answer questions so you can find out if this camp is right for your family.

Jackie Chan’s stunt team uses the same equipment that your kids will

BJK: How does this special training center enhance the winter camp experience?

FY: It’s a professional training center with all the professional equipment needed for martial arts, movies, and stunts… [so you can feel confident in the]safety of the participants.

And, on a side note, the location of the center is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and nature. Also, the center itself is an experience, with 37,000 square meters of film and training facilities.

BJK: What can parents expect their kids to learn from this one week camp?

FY: We teach gymnastics as a base because it gives great core training, coordination, and flexibility.

In movies, it’s important to be able to adapt and each sport and martial arts has its own specialty and flavor. We want the participants to be able to learn, see, and feel the differences between the different martial arts.

For stunts, falling techniques are very important both off and onscreen. That will be the base, then safety and etiquette when filming. From that, we move over to body reactions, basic wirework, and also basic gun control [Editor’s note: not using real guns]. They will also learn how a green screen works.

Most classes are in age groups so it’s easier to personalize the training for a better progression curve. They also get to meet the Jackie Chan stunt team, and that in itself is quite a cool experience.

BJK: What qualities do your camps teach beyond the physical training in different sports?

FY: The camp offers unique insights into the movie industry. Not everything on the screen is red carpet and glamour. There is a lot of extremely hard work and early mornings behind a movie project. The participants might reflect on that a bit more next time they see a movie.

The campers will also see how you create some of the special effects in movies and that the monsters are not real; they are made using props or a green screen. Moreover, one of the best and most important parts of a movie project is team building and friendship. We know the campers will get to feel and experience that.

Flips & Kicks Plus ensures quality when it comes to camps with our long track record. So we know the kids and young adults will have an amazing experience.

Feel the freedom of soaring like a bird! Flying an SR20 may be fun, rewarding, and addictive. The Cirrus SR20 is one of the world’s safest propeller aircraft. It’s an American piston-engine, four-or-five-seat, composite monoplane built by Cirrus Aircraft of Duluth, Minnesota. The SR20 is the first production general aviation aircraft equipped with a parachute to lower the airplane safely to the ground after experiencing loss of control, structural failure, or mid-air collision. It was also the first manufactured light aircraft with all-composite construction and flat-panel avionics. You have the opportunity to fly the plane under the guidance of a senior flight instructor. You can customize the whole flight and how much you want to control the plane. Select the world’s safest propeller aircraft (SR20) and professional flight support team to handle your problems. The content covers takeoff, landing, circling, and hovering. This isn’t like your normal passenger flight experience. Children under 3 not allowed.
