Art Workshop at the Song Art Museum, Jun 8
Kids 8+. Building off the Song Art Museum’s current exhibition The Eternal Thread from Louise Bourgeois, this English-language workshops for kids 8 and up will teach participants to express feelings through drawing, using different mediums, colors, and shapes. Guangxi Art Performance Group Perform Menogga’s Garden, June 8-9
All ages. For thousands of years, flowers and the God of Flowers have dominated the folk stories of the Zhuang people in South China’s Guangxi region. According to these stories, all the Zhuang people are flowers in the garden of Menogga, the goddess who eventually transforms these flowers into humans and sends them to earth to experience life and death. Cats: The Musical, Jul 3-13
All ages. The international musical phenomenon Cats is in Beijing at the Beijing Century Theatre this July.
