Beijing City International School (BCIS)  is an integral member of YueCheng Education. Founded in 2005, BCIS is a non-profit private school located in Beijing’s central business district (CBD). Approved by the Education Committee of Chaoyang District, Beijing, BCIS is a fully authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School accredited by Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Council of International Schools (CIS).

After-school activities: BCIS offers Enrichment Activities both during lunch break and after-school; including academic ones such as Aeromodelling, Start Up, Model United Nations, Robot Maker, Criminal Psychology, Brain Bee, Economy, STEAM, Detective Science, Mathematics, and Programming, as well as athletic ones like swimming, Jiu Jitsu, Golf, Tennis, Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball, Softball, Indoor Rock Climbing, Ballet, Football, and Basketball. There are also artistic and cultural ones like the Migrant Children’s Foundation, Oil Painting, Choir, School Production, Chinese Traditional Culture, Orchestra, Magic, Chess, Sport Broadcast Team, Animal Shelter, and the Acapella.
Scholarships offered? es. BCIS offers an Academic scholarship and a Merit scholarship for exceptional students who align with BCIS’ mission and vision. The Scholarships are available to external applicants for Grades 9 and 10, and to current BCIS students entering Grades 11 and 12. External students can also apply for the BCIS Future Leader and APEX Innovator Scholarships, offering full or partial tuition waivers.

Competition and event resources: BCIS is an exam center for American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) and Australian Mathematics Competitions (AMC). We host the AVENIR business competition every year and frequently host Chinese Debate competitions. We also participate in the following annual contests: United Kingdom Mathematics Trust for Junior and Senior Challenge (UKMT) and the Family Mathematics Olympiad for both middle school and high school. In April, we will host an ACE ACAMIS robotics competition. Additionally, BCIS is a full member of three sports conferences: The International Schools Athletic Conference (ISAC), The Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS), and Junior International Schools Athletics Conference (JISAC).

Facilities: The BCIS Main Campus has over 50 classrooms, sports complex (swimming pool, football fields, gymnasium, fitness room), theater, design and technology lab, Maker Space workshop, science labs, two libraries, two cafeterias, and more. The BCIS ECC Campus is an eco-friendly facility with 20 spacious classrooms, dining areas, indoor and outdoor play areas, learning kitchens, gymnasium, library, art room, rooftop gardens, and more. Both campuses contain air-filtering equipment. Lunch fee: BCIS ECC Campus: Snacks and lunch are included in the annual tuition fee.
