The First-Ever River BBQ Fest at Langyuan Station

Get ready, Beijing. Our first-ever River BBQ Fest is coming to the capital! It’ll be taking place at Langyuan Station from Sep 19 to Sep 21. Save the date now! At the fest, there will be everything from American low-and-slow barbecue to Brazilian churrasco, Chinese chuan’r, Korean BBQ, Turkish barbecue, Japanese izakaya skewers and more!
As with all our food fests, it isn’t only about the delicious eats, though! Think craft beer, cocktails, live music, and a riverside party atmosphere inspired by global grill events like Sydney’s Meatstock and Barcelona’s Meat & Fire Festival.
The fest will be completely family- and pet-friendly, so feel free to bring along the little ones and your furry friends for all the fun! With vibrant visuals, delicious aromas and a true carnival vibe, River BBQ Fest is set to be Beijing’s hottest autumn weekend!

Scares at Universal
Universal Beijing Resort is bringing back its Scares @ Universal event from Sep 5 until Nov 2. During its nighttime experiences, the closing time of the themed lands will be extended to 11pm.
Four themed haunted mazes (including two new ones) and two scare zones will open to visitors altogether. The “Universal Monsters Crypt,” one of the new haunted zones, will gather original characters from Universal Pictures’ classic movies and provide visitors with multi-sensory assaults through blockbuster-level production quality. Another new area, the silent and mysterious “House of Hua Pi” – will open for a limited period. Jack’s Circus and House No. 91 will also come back.
