Beijing World Youth Academy (BWYA) is a fully-fledged 12-grade school for Chinese and foreign students. Since our establishment in 2001, we have always offered the highest standards of education possible. Today, BWYA brings together over 1,200 students and 230 faculty and staff, representing more than 30 nationalities.

“Locally Grounded, Globally Aware”, is the motto of the school. Whilst teaching the Chinese national curriculum, we also draw on international educational concepts, teaching methods, and testing standards, as we continuously pursue innovative education. We have achieved remarkable results and become well respected in the wider educational community.

Through more than twenty years of educational experience, we have had over 1300 graduates. Our distinctive educational approach, which combines Eastern-Western philosophies and methodologies, has effectively equipped our graduates with a strong academic foundation, preparing them well for admission into the world’s top universities.

Inside, the school has air purification systems, full wireless coverage, intelligent whiteboards, an art gallery, music practice rooms, Apple computer laboratories, science laboratories, DT studios with 3D printers, laser cutters, vacuum forming machines, and more. Outdoors, there are standard football pitches and a 400m track as well as a forest area all covering over 10,000 square meters, providing students with rich and diversified learning experiences, and cultivating healthy growth in every area.
