AISB-Hope International, established in 2012, is a K5 to G12 international school in east Chaoyang District. This school is foreign licensed following American Common Core standards-based curriculum, instruction, and assessment across all grade levels. Their character-focused education and holistic approach allow their students to thrive academically, physically, socially, and emotionally.
Their smaller class sizes allow students to receive personalized attention to grow academically and fulfill their potential beyond the classroom. They have vibrant programs in the arts, music, sports, and a diverse range of After School Activities that are offered every semester. Students participate in ISAC and JISAC sports leagues.
They offer Advanced Placement (AP) college level courses for high school students. Curricular programs include STEM, humanities, fine arts, language arts, and philosophy.
AISB-Hope provides a tailored support for English language learners in their English Plus program. Their SENCO (Special Education Needs Coordinator) supports students with learning differences. They support all students regardless of whether they have an IEP (Individualized Educational Plan) or not and they always put their learning and social emotional needs first when developing academic support plans. AISB – Hope International is accredited by ACS WASC and is an official testing center for the SAT, PSAT, AP, and MAP.
